A full event identity refresh for one of Tampa's most storied preservation organizations, honoring the historic minarets of Plant Hall with design as considered as the landmark itself.

The Chiselers, Inc. is a Tampa-based nonprofit dedicated to the preservation of Plant Hall at the University of Tampa — the 1891 landmark originally built as the Tampa Bay Hotel by Henry B. Plant, and one of Florida's most architecturally significant buildings. The organization's signature fundraising event, Walk for the Minarets, brings together the Tampa community each year to celebrate and support the ongoing preservation of this National Historic Landmark.
Triangular Studio served as an in-kind sponsor and design partner for the 2023 event, redesigning the full look and feel of the Walk from the ground up — giving the event a visual identity worthy of the landmark it honors.

the objective
Redesign the Walk for the Minarets event identity to feel as historic, considered, and prestigious as Plant Hall itself. The visual system needed to communicate heritage and institutional gravitas — appropriate for an organization that has been stewarding one of Tampa's most iconic buildings — while also feeling approachable and community-centered enough to invite participation and give donors pride in the event.
Every deliverable — map, banner, poster, sponsor board, and informational collateral — had to work cohesively as a single, unified event identity system.
